History

In August 1958, Kunlun Institute of Ceramics, Zibo Ceramic Industry Bureau was established with the approval of People’s Committee of Zibo City.

On April 4th 1989, renamed as Shandong Institute of Advanced Ceramics with the approval of Shandong Scientific and Technological Commission.

On March 9th 1995, the joint venture Zibo Cerdec Ceramic Pigment Co., Ltd was established by Shandong Institute of Advanced Ceramics and DMC2 Germany.

On May 9th 2001, Shandong Institute of Advanced Ceramics was reconstructured into Shandong Guiyuan New Material Co., Ltd with the approval of the People’s Government of Shandong Province.

In January 2008, Shandong Guiyuan Advanced Ceramics Co., Ltd was established by Shandong Guiyuan New Material Co., Ltd.
